Blue is the warmest color

Winter arrived. Finally winter has arrived to Barcelona, and I can take out my new aviator Peuterey coat. If you want a good coat that make you looks great, Peauterey its your brand. I love the dark blue and details on the zippers and buttons. The rest of the outfit is a chino by Abercrombie & fitch, a shirt by Superdry, Komono Sunglasses and a Zara shoes  El invierno llegó. Estábamos pasándolo muy templado, no necesitábamos a penas ropa de abrigo. Y este domingo bajaron las temperaturas, y por fin pude sacar de mi armario mi nueva chaqueta estilo aviador Peuterey. Es una marca que recomiendo para cualquier tipo de abrigo, además de una calidad excelente sientan muy bien. Me encanta el azul oscuro  y los acabados como las cremalleras y botones. El resto del look es un chino Abecrombie & Fitch, la camisa Superdry, gafas Komono y zapatos Zara

Nagir is a fashion student from Beirut. He has been spending a few days in Barcelona. where he is thinking to move. On Friday afternoon we take a walk on old streets of the Born and I take the chance to took him some pictures. He wore a vintage Persol sunglasses, a camel coat, and a white animal print t-shirt, and Slim fit jeans, and wine colored Monktrap. Nagir es un estudiante de moda en Beirut. Ha estado pasando unos días en Barcelona, donde le gustaría mudarse. El viernes tarde estuvimos de paseo por las calles del Born y aproveché la ocasión para tomarle algunas fotografías. Llevaba unas gafas Persol vintage, un abrigo de paño camel, una camiseta blanca animal print, unos tejanos fit y unos  zapatos con hebilla color vino.

 The Milan Fashion Week has been celebrated recently. The brands presented their collections Autumn-Winter 2014-2015, and the oversize garments flooded the catwalk. I think it’s a tricky trend for the mainstream, as it suits better to a slim body and it has to be combine properly with other items in order to achieve a visual impact. However, and much to my dismay, it’s unstoppable.

Recientemente se ha celebrado Milán Fashion Week. Las marcas han presentado sus colecciones de Otoño-Invierno 2014-2015, las prendas oversize han inundado las pasarelas. Creo que como tendencia es complicada para el público, se necesita una complexión delgada para poder lucirla, y saber como combinarla con otros elementos fit, para conseguir un impacto visual. De todas formas y muy a mi pesar parece que no hay quien la pare.

I love to discover new talents of the British music and the Sound of... from BBC It always help me to find them! This year the winner is Sam Smith. Her voice is deep and sweet at the same time. Me apasiona descubrir nuevos talentos de la música británica, y el  Sound of...  de la BBC suele acertar con mis gustos. Este año el ganador es Sam Smith, han vuelto a acertar. New Year, new perspectives

My New Year’s resolution is to write this blog. The idea has been in my mind for a while, but until this Christmas when a colleague told me - You wear like a man from a magazine, i wish my boyfriend wears this way - That’s when I get the strength to start this adventure, The Coatman. I have the intention to share my daily looks, and the looks from other people that I spot in the streets of Barcelona.

Llega el nuevo año y con él nuevos propósitos. Para este año uno de ellos es escribir este blog. Llevo tiempo con la idea en la cabeza, pero estas navidades una compañera de trabajo me dijo - pareces un chico de revista, me gustaría que mi novio vistiera así - después de este comentario me animé a empezar esta aventura, The Coatman. En él hablaré de  tendencias, cine, música y de los lugares y personas más interesantes que mi objetivo capture por las calles de Barcelona.
